Incoming Kindergarten children must be five years of age on or before December 1, 2011, in order to register for the 2011-2012 school year. At the time of registration, parents or legal guardians must present their valid photo identification as well as proof of William Floyd School District residency such as a current utility bill, tax bill, deed, mortgage statement or signed and notarized complete lease (computer generated leases will require supporting documents). Parents or guardians must also present their child’s original birth certificate and proof of immunizations for three (3) doses of polio, three (3) doses of diphtheria, one (1) dose each of live vaccine for mumps and rubella, two (2) doses of measles, and three (3) doses of hepatitis B vaccine. In addition, all children born after January 1, 1998, and all students born on or after January 1, 1994, entering 6th grade must be vaccinated against varicella one (1) shot for chicken pox given after the first birthday.

Registration for all new students to the district takes place on all regularly scheduled school days (with the exception of the first day of student attendance) in the Central Registration Office located next to the High School Main Office between the hours of 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.
